Honi Ryan is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Blue Mountains, Australia and Berlin, Germany. Ryan works across performance, social sculpture, media-arts and installation. She is interested in art as alternative models for living. Her work has cross cultural concerns and approaches the body in dialogue with electronic media, a body that is both an organism and a part of social behaviour. Ryan has performed and exhibited in more than 10 countries over the last 7 years. She has a BVA from Sydney College of the Arts with honours I and is currently an MFA candidate at the Transart Institute, Berlin and New York.

Dr Benjamin James Matthews
Dr Benjamin James Matthews is a cultural anthropologist who investigates futurism, visuality and cultural practices that seem to be developing around modes of artistic production associated with network culture. His PhD argued that anthropological categories can be used to explain the aesthetic dimension of cultural emergence.
